Mary Lena Ghizzoni Bell *, Pine Township, formerly of Liberty Street in Grove City, died at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, in Orchard Manor, Pine Township, following an extended illness. She was 99.

Mrs. Bell was born July 12, 1902, in Milan, Italy, to John and Anna Ghizzoni.

A homemaker, she was a member of Church of the Beloved Disciple in Grove City.

Her husband, Ross Bell, whom she married April 25, 1922, died Jan. 6, 1992.

Surviving are: two daughters, Louise Hess, Hermitage; and Edith M. Bell, Grove City; two granddaughters, Marta Hess; and Paula and her husband Clay Yeatman, all Atlanta.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Edith Ghizzoni and Josephine Sarachene.

    Service: Mass of Christian burial at 9 a.m. Friday (11-9-01) in Church of the Beloved Disciple, Grove City, with Monsignor Edward J. Zeitler, pastor, as celebrant.
    Interment: Crest-view Memorial Park, Pine Township.
